About Me

My name is Kirsten Roethel, and I am a 3D artist. I am a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Interactive Media and Game Design. I have worked as an artist on an abundance of projects, both in a team and solo. My skills include all aspects of the 3D pipeline: 3D modeling, optimization, UVing, texturing, rigging, animating, and implementation.

I have always loved video games and art. Once I was introduced to 3D art, I knew it was what I wanted to pursue. I decided to go to college with a degree in Game Design, and I proceeded to take any and all classes I could to learn the process of developing games. I also worked as a Student Assistant in multiple 3D art classes, where I aided students in creating their projects. I was awarded WPI's Salisbury Prize for Interactive Media and Game Design (BA) for my dedication to the department and performance in my classes.
